Program Description:

The University Vein Center provides comprehensive evaluation of lower-extremity venous disease. State-of-the-art non-invasive venous evaluation includes impedance plethysmography, photo plethysmography and venous color duplex imaging. Therapeutic options include appropriate compression stockings, conventional surgical treatment of varicose veins, injection sclerotherapy and counseling.

Participation in randomized trials of the most current outpatient surgical procedures is available. The new same-day surgical center allows all treatments to be a one-day visit.
