Program Description:

The Cerebrovascular Disease Program provides evaluation and therapy of extracranial artery disease typically treated by carotid endarterectomy. The expertise of the surgical team has resulted in an extremely low perioperative morbidity of less than two percent stroke rate.

The addition of balloon angioplasty with stent placement for nonsurgical situations is in coordination with the team members of the Vascular Center of New Jersey.
