Program Description:

The Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery Program consists of a full-service neurosurgical, neuroradiological, neuroanesthesia group providing current management techniques for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and other vascular lesions of the brain and spinal cord. Appropriate techniques are selected for each patient in both emergent and elective situations. Interventional neuroradiology, including GDC coiling, is used in conjunction with surgical approaches to provide comprehensive care. A dedicated neurosurgical intensive care unit, intermediate care unit, neuroscience floor and specially trained nurses provide the finest of care for patients.
