Program Description:
The Psychiatric Consult Service evaluates and treats patients with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric difficulties who are either hospitalized at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital or referred as outpatients. Expert opinion is offered in psychopharmacology, psychiatric aspects of medical and neurologic illness, and the interaction between medical and psychiatric drugs.
Follow-up treatment may be arranged in the community.
