Program Description:

The Pediatric Hypertension Program provides evaluation of infants, children and teenagers with abnormal blood pressure for age and size. Comprehensive evaluations include up-to-date radiologic and laboratory techniques. In many cases, blood pressure monitoring outside the office setting is important for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Dietary evaluations and counseling are arranged when there may be a significant nutritional component. The primary physician is kept updated with regard to the patient's status, test results, etc., and is often involved in the ongoing follow-up and care of the patient.
