Program Description:

The Program provides the full spectrum of preventive cardiology services.

Lipids and Nutrition:

  • The Lipid Metabolism Laboratory is located in the Medical Education Building. The Laboratory provides routine and specialized lipid metabolism testing. Lipid and Nutrition Clinics provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation and management of hyperlipidemia, nutritional evaluation and dietary consultation.

Comprehensive Hypertension Evaluation and Treatment Program:

  • Services provided include ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and evaluation and treatment of primary and secondary forms of hypertension.

Women's Cardiovascular Wellness Program:

  • Preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac services are performed for women in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Cardiac Exercise and Rehabilitation Training (CERT):

  • Comprehensive exercise, nutrition and lifestyle modification programs are provided for patients with heart disease.
