Program Description:

The General Dermatology Program provides a full range of high quality services for our adult and pediatric population including medical and surgical dermatology. Headed by the Department's Interim Chair, Dr. Babar Rao, our team offers special expertise in skin cancer and common diseases of the skin such as psoriasis, rosacea, contact dermatitis, acne and warts as well as rare skin diseases such as blistering diseases, hair loss disorders and lupus.. Also offered are cosmetic dermatological services such as Botox, chemical peels and facial fillers and laser. The faculty also provide inpatient dermatology consultations for patients hospitalized at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
