Program Description

The Department of Anesthesia at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School operates a comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management center. The New Jersey Pain Institute offers diagnosis and treatment for acute, chronic and cancer pain problems. The Acute Pain Service is on call for various postoperative, medical and oncologic pain control. Outpatients who have chronic pain problems are seen on a referral basis and have available to them the latest, broadest techniques for pain treatment.
