Program Description

The Movement Disorders Center's director is Lawrence I. Golbe, MD. It is a major regional referral center associated with the American Parkinson's Disease Association, the Parkinson Study Group, the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, the International Tremor Foundation and the Foundation for PSP/CBD and Related Brain Diseases (CurePSP). The physicians provide consultation, diagnostics and long-term care of patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, dystonia (such as torticollis, blepharospasm and Meige syndrome), essential tremor, Huntington's disease and ataxic disorders.
