Program Description:

The Division of Developmental Disabilities provides the comprehensive evaluation and management of children with a spectrum of developmental disorders. Conditions evaluated include Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Language Delays, Learning Disabilities, Mental Retardation and Spina Bifida.

When appropriate, the developmental pediatrician coordinates the evaluation and management with the multidisciplinary team of the Laurie Neurodevelopmental Institute (e.g., psychologist, learning consultant; speech, physical and occupational therapists; social worker and nurses), as well as the referring physician and school system.
