Department of OB/GYN and Reproductive ServicesEducation and Training:The Department is centrally situated in New Brunswick and has many practice locations: The main practice is located in the Clinical Academic Building adjacent to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Additional practice locations are at Somerset Medical Center, JFK Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center, Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, University Medical Center at Princeton, and Centrastate Medical Center. The Department has a fully accredited residency program, as well as fellowships in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is a regional Perinatal Center and the main site of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the largest division of its kind in the country (17 faculty members) and serves as a major referral center for high-risk obstetrics in central New Jersey. Also located at RWJUH and supported by the Division of MFM is a recently developed genetics center incorporating prepregnancy, antepartum and intrapartum evaluation and counseling. The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was one of the first in the state and one of the largest infertility centers in New Jersey. The Division utilizes the latest in assisted-reproductive technologies, including donor programs. The Department also has an active General Obstetrics and Gynecology Division which provides care to the community through its various programs, including Urogynecology, Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery and Women's Health Research.
