The Department of Emergency Medicine staffs the Emergency Department of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital serves as the medical school's primary teaching affiliate. Robert Wood Johnson is a 580 bed Level One trauma center with an annual ED census of greater than 60,000 adult visits. All of our physicians are BE/BC with over 90% being board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition to the physician staff, our physician assistants help provide quality care to our patients.
